Self Defense Classes- Advanced Level
Based in NYC, Prepare offers self defense classes to women, children and men of all fitness and skill levels through instruction and practice in a range of realistic encounters at various levels of danger or threat. You can learn more about the basics program here:http://prepareinc.com/public-classes/ and Prepare's mother organization, Impact, which offers violence prevention programs in schools and to low income students throughout the U.S. and in Israel and the U.K http://www.impactselfdefense.org/
Prepare in NYC has previously offered advanced self defense classes on how to handle situations involving weapons and being in confined spaces, like elevators. However, they haven't offered advanced classes in 2 years, due to a lack of funds to arrange this program. They have said that if enough students express an interest in the program that they can do it, but they have not tried to solicit interest for this class among graduates of the basics program or the larger public.
This is a suggestion for Prepare to offer an advanced level self defense program in NYC.
