I've loved flying with Gulf Coast Aviation over the years and think that there is another offering that would both do well for the company and serve a great safety need in the aviation community: A Spouse Course!

So many new pilots are hampered by their spouses simply because they don't understand (and thus are afraid of) small airplanes.

A short spouse course would A) Allow spouses to become more familiar with general aviation and become much better airplane traveling companions and B) Increase safety tremendously because in the event that things do get stressful in the during flight, the pilot will have a partner who can assist.

I know that it takes time to develop quality curriculum and course, but I would gladly pay to help incentivize GCA to offer this valuable service to our aviation community.
